Class dismissed..doctors orders!!

ello Everyone!!
Today may possibly be the happiest day of my life..my doctor has given me the green light to leave tampa and return home!!!!!
I have made Moffit history as the fastest recovered transplant patient as per Dr. Ayala. Lol!! He said, he has never had a patient recover as quickly as I have!! Of course, I asked why? He said, age and the number one thing was my attitude.
So I'm scheduled to have my port removed either monday or tuesday and then I'm out of this town!!
I just want to thank all of you for all the prayers and positive energy you have sent me. I have been on this journey since October and the support I have been given has been amazing!
I am so happy to close this chapter of my life and move on . I am forever changed by this experience. I read an amazing quote today that will be my prayer for all of you.."Know that things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out".

IT FEELS GREAT TO FEEL LIKE ME AGAIN!!

Hello everybody!!!
I'm happy to report that, today is the first day my body felt balanced!! I actually feel like Porsha Taylor again. A week ago.. I visited the perimeters of cancer hell, and now I truely feel mentally and physically back on track.
Through all the pain,I was able to surrendor to it and make my way to the finish line. Let me tell you, having a transplant is NOT like running a marathon as I first thought. Lance Armstrong was correct about the challenge of cancer...its like riding the Tour de France.
So people, it looks like monday will be my honorable discharge. I will be moving to my apt close to the hospital, where I will be for several weeks until I'm completely recovered to go home to miami.
In case I didn't give you guys my new address at the apt..here it is again (sorry if I did..I have chemo brain)

Hey guys,
Sorry I have been mia...the past couple of days have been so challenging. I had a couple of fevers, complete lost of appeaite (except cucumbers and yoplait) and my dredded fatique!
I had a blood tranfusion today..so I'm feeling a little better..its to be expected because of my cell count! Tomorrow, I have boast shot, so hopefully I will be even better than today.
Also not to get on my soap box, but if you smoke anything or eat crappy food please stop! Having your body feel like its been hit by a 18 wheeler is no fun! Find a new vice.

Hello All,
I had a very successful transplant yesterday!! My blood counts are great and I'm feeling very strong! I've been slightly tired, however, that is the worst of my condition.
Thank you so much for all of your positive energy and vibes that have gotten me through this week! I would not have been able to do it with out all of you!
I'm hoping for an early discharge as per my doctor! I will keep you all posted!

Big hugs

Day -1

Hi!!
So tonight is the last of my 2 cycle regime!! I have one more cycle tomorrow for 45 mins and 4 hours of saline hydration to prepare for my lovely cells on wednesday! Piece of cake!!
My blood counts are pretty good and haven't dropped to zero yet! Hence my energy level..thank god I juiced 7 months in advance!!
If I don't spike a fever after the transplant or next week..I'm in the clear!
The tunes of Jay-Z and Lil Wayne are keeping me motivated to workout and be tough!! You know my gansta side from parkslope is coming out!! Lol!
I'm a New Yorker and NOTHING takes advantage of me..including cancer!!
